Our friend and co-worker Guy Vernon Knight passed away sometime the week of October 17th. Guy went missing from home on October 15th and his body was found October 27th, 2021 near Florence, Oregon. Guy is a beloved husband , father, and grandfather, and a wonderful friend to his co-workers and patients at Oregon State Hospital. Guy retired from OSH on Oct. 14, 2021, Cause of his death has not been reported, but Guy was suffering from heart problems and diabetes.

All of us will miss his sense of humor and positive attitude. He touched so many lives. He was also man who loved his family, his farm and the outdoors and had a tremendous affection for animals of all kinds.

To those of us that knew Guy well, we will also remember his can-do attitude; his favorite saying being "Get "er done!" when situations seemed insurmountable, and his ability to come up with a joke at the times when we needed it most.

Guy is survived by his wife Gloria “Annie” Knight , his daughters and his loving grandchildren. The family was in the middle of rennovating their farmhouse, and Guy's sudden death could not have come at a worse time for Annie , both emotionally and financially.
