Guy C. Smith

Hi everyone, this is Doug Heflin, a former member of SCV. Guy Smith was one of my dear friends, a drum corps brother, as well a roommate in 1979 and 1980. We were all shocked and saddened by his death this week. Guy had a tremendous impact on all our lives. All proceeds from the Go Fund Me will go to Guy’s family to help them with medical bills and final expenses. I’ve spoken to his wife, Leah, and she gave us permission to start the fund. In true Guy fashion, she thought of everyone else first and what we all we may be going through today. I reminded her that it was nothing like what they’re experiencing. Guy will always be in our hearts and this is a way to honor his memory. Services are still in the planning stages and will be posted as soon as available.
