My name is Laia, I live in the UK and, like many of you, I'm appalled by what's happening right now in Gaza. I'm setting up this GoFundMe page to help my friend Alaa's family in Gaza. They are being forced to live under horrible, unthinkable conditions. Please consider donating to make sure they can reach a safe place and have enough to at least feed the children.

️ I am launching this fundraiser to support my family who are living under unbearable conditions in Gaza after losing our homes and everything we owned. Today, we are not only struggling to survive, but also facing the threat of forced displacement as the army advances into our area.

Our children are the ones suffering the most. They urgently need a clean place, food, water, milk, and diapers. As adults, we can endure, but the children cannot. They deserve a decent life like any other child in the world.

️ One of the little girls in our family suffers from a serious eye condition; her cornea has been damaged and she has severe strabismus. She requires regular medical care and check-ups, and she urgently needs prescription glasses to prevent permanent vision loss.

Our children desperately need medical care and proper treatment, far from the harsh and unhealthy conditions they are forced to live in now.

We are not asking for compensation for our destroyed homes — what we seek is your support to secure the costs of the forced evacuation imposed on us. This step is extremely expensive, but without it, we risk our children’s lives if we remain. We only want to give them the chance to live in safety, away from war and danger.
