Our wonderful cat Gus has had to be admitted to hospital suffering from Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA), a serious complication of his ongoing diabetes condition.

Gus is a gorgeous, friendly, and loving ginger boy - all friends and neighbours that have met him in his 13 years (so far! ) of his life have been touched by how peaceful and chilled he is.

We're hoping that Gus will recover and be able to transition from his previous diabetes medicine to long term insulin injections, but as this was a pre-existing condition on his insurance, we have no cover for his vet bills in this case, which are already in the thousands.
