I met Gus in June 2025, and he was already struggling with serious health issues. The people who were supposed to be caring for him didn’t, and because of that, he wasn’t getting the medical attention he desperately needed. I was able to step in and get him the veterinary care that saved his life and Gus made an incredible recovery.

Unfortunately, Gus has once again been let down by humans and he needs our help now more than ever.

A wonderful rescue has graciously stepped in to help him, but the cost of his medical care is going to far exceed what any one person can manage alone. Gus deserves comfort, treatment, and a real chance to heal — not more suffering because of neglect.
