Felice's Beat Cancer Campaign

Hi, my name is Felice Gilmartin I am a mother of two wonderful boys and I am married to a wonderful husband. Our world was turned upside down in the winter of 2014 when I was told that I have two breast cancer lumps in my left breast. Since then we have been working on fighting this cancer. I have been to two breast specialist and all they are willing to do is the cut and burn method. We have done extensive research on breast cancer and all types of cancer. I have chosen to not do the cut and burn method which includes chemo and radiation. Instead I have chosen the holistic/integrative medicine path that kills the cancer where it starts. It has involved an extreme change in lifestyle and diet which has been beneficial in many ways but has also put financial stress on the family. I am at a point that I need to see an Integrative medicine doctor and have blood work and other procedures that very costly but, less costly then chemo or radiation and they will not kill my good cells . Unfortunately medical insurance will not cover any of this and we are living on one income. So in order to move forward I need to ask for help. I have to admit I am one that loves to help others but does not like to ask for help from others so this is a big step for me. But I have realized that everyone needs to be humble and reach out to others for help in a crisis. So I am reaching out for help with my crisis, if you can help with a donation for my blood work and other procedures I thank you from the bottom of my heart!! In case you are wondering why I have chosen the holistic path over the conventional path; the main reason is that my mother was diagnosed with cervical cancer and she chose the conventional path because she felt that was the only path to take. I watched the conventional path devour my mother in just months in many ways, by the end she no longer had the will to live do to the damage and pain that the chemo and radiation had caused. This broke my heart because the mother that I had always known was so very strong willed. I believe that had she taken the holistic/integrative path she may have beat the cancer but at the very least she would have had more time to be with her family and her quality of life would have been much better.
