Urgent need to help Rwandans have access to Bibles

Dear beloved brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus,

We humbly come before you today on behalf of the Bible Society in Rwanda (BSR), with a heartfelt request for your generous support in our mission to make Bibles readily available in Rwanda.

Over the past decade, we have experienced a significant decline in the number of sponsors for the printing of Kinyarwanda Bibles, reaching a staggering 80% reduction. Some sponsors have sadly passed away, and their children have discontinued their support, while others have undergone changes in their beliefs.

This urgent fundraising campaign has been initiated to address the critical situation at hand. The cost of printing a single Bible amounts to approximately $100, which, until recently, was made accessible to Rwandans at a nominal price ranging from $6 to $11. This affordability was made possible by our dedicated sponsors, who covered the remaining $89 to $94 per Bible. However, as you can see, there is now a significant deficit that needs to be overcome.

We fervently pray that the Almighty God will touch your heart and inspire you to contribute to this noble cause of spreading the Word of Christ. Your generous donations will enable us to continue our essential work, ensuring that every Rwandan has access to the life-changing message of the Bible.

Bibiliya imwe kugirango ikorwe hagomba nibura ama $100, ni ukuvuga ngo abaterankunga bishyuraga amadolari ari hagati 89-94 kuri buri Bibiliya, Umunyarwanda akishyura hagati y’ibihumbi 6 na 11000 cy’amanyarwanda!
