Hey Everyone, my name is GusGus. Just like anyone else, we all have a story. I’ll tell you a little about mine. I am 2 years old and have had a pretty tough life so far. I lived in a shelter for a few months and had some serious injuries after being hit by a car. My legs were hurt, I had some pretty nasty infections, and they also discovered I'm blind. But I got better! Sadly, because of all my sad stuff and being blind, no one wanted me, and I was going to be put to sleep. A nice lady saved me, and I was in a foster home. It was nice there, but I couldn’t stay for long.

One special day, I found my mommies. As soon as I met them, I knew they were the ones for me!!

I’m a happy, goofy pup now! I love to play and smile all the time. I love to cuddle and untie shoes, but I promise I'm a good boy. I bump into everything all the time because I can’t see. My mommies still love me even though I’m pretty clumsy!

Mommy took me to this place called the vet, and they said I am blind because I have these things in my eyes called cataracts. Now there is a surgery that can fix it, and my mommies really want me to get the surgery, but it costs a lot of money. Would you help me be able to see the world?
