Hello, My name is Michael. I am trying to raise some funds. I have recently been diagnosed with rectal cancer. I require chemo and radiation therapy. Then I will most likely have a operation to remove my rectum and anus, and then have a stoma and bag for the rest of my life. After recovering from this I will then need months of chemo. So I am going to be quite useless on farm for quite awhile. It is going to be a long road with lots of expenses, as we have to stay in Toowoomba ( 3 hours away) during treatment and surgery. My wife Jody is now also my carer and support person.

We live on a property, and I am trying to get things in place to make it easier to look after, for when Jody has to do things just by herself. We need things like a logsplitter and an electric chainsaw that she can use so we have heating in the winter. We need to buy extra feed for the animals. We need to install some fencing for our animals, creating several paddocks, so we then don't need to buy so much feed and can put them out in the paddocks.

We also have the added expense of living between 2 places for the next 12 months. We also need help to do maintenance etc on our property.

Every little bit will help us to get through this.
