Gus needs a Heart Transplant

Hi, my name is Gus Burgess former baseball player for the Boston Red Sox in the early 80s. I reach out today with an urgent call for help.

I suffered a head injury in March of this year which later resulted in me being hospitalized. During my hospitalization it was discovered that I have Congestive heart failure and am in urgent need of a heart transplant. My heart is working at only 15%. Since then I've been hospitalized 18 times which has led me to completely stop working. I am currently in stable condition, and am awaiting heart transplant surgery.

Nevertheless, I am grateful for another day and looking forward to getting better and returning to sports to work with kids.
