On Tuesday, January 7th, Augustus "Gus" Mitchell died due to injuries sustained in a semi milk hauler accident. Gus, a loving son, uncle, and father, grew up in Mineral Point and was a treasured member of the Class of 2010. With permission from Gus' family, our classmates have launched this page to raise funds for his 1 year-old son, Auggie. We will be distributing funds for his care, as well as establishing an education fund for his future. For those who prefer, donations can be made via check at Farmers Savings Bank to the Class of 2010 account with memo to the Gus Mitchell Memorial Fundraiser.
