Donation protected
Thank you to all who contributed to Gus's 80th birthday gift, $87 was collected during the Button Pins give away on Sunday at Main stage, Wheatland Music Festival.

UPDATE: (JULY 2018) PLEASE KEEP GUS AND HIS MOTHER IN YOUR HEART AND PRAYERS AS SHE ENTERS HOSPICE AND END-OF-LIFE CARE. WHEATLAND IS HIS EXTENDED FAMILY AND HE REALLY APPRECIATES ALL THE LOVE AND SUPPORT AT THIS FEARFUL TIME IN HIS LIFE. XO, PEACE.

Gus Limbo has brought joy and happiness to the attendees of Wheatland Music Festival more than four decades. He has dedicated his live to entertaining. From fire-dancing to World Limbo record holder, (trust me, it's worth a Gus Limbo Google ), dancing for Presidents, for Carnival Cruise Line, and with Elvis and Bill Monroe. An Honorable man, he spent eight years serving the US Army. He is a native, and member of the Cherokee Nation, he teaches the heritage to scout troops and attends many inter-tribal "powwows". Gus also is a four time cancer survivor and has participated in many "Relay For Life" events to raise money for the American Cancer Society.
Now, Gus needs our help. In 2016, at the Wheatland Music Festival, Gus suffered a Myocardial Infarct, (heart attack). Due to the seriousness of the event he was transported by helicopter to a Medical Center. His heart arrested during flight but he was revived and with the medical care he received he made a full recovery.
What did not recover was his finances when the Helicopter flight was not covered by any insurance. As you can image his bills have snow-balled and become overwhelming since that time. From car troubles to furnace problems it has been a tough time for our friend. Gus is also the proud son and sole caregiver to his beloved Mother, age 102, whose health is poor at this time. Let's see what we can do to help Gus get back on his "dancing" feet. Thank you for your interest in kindness, any donation is appreciated.
