Hi, This is Brenda, Gus's sister. As most of you know by now, Gus suffered a severe stroke on January 12, 2023. Gus has become paralyzed (hopefully not permanently) on his left side and has been unable to fully communicate as he used to. Gus being in the medical field and knowing the outcomes of such incidents is in a dark place right now. He is scared, he is frustrated and nervous about what this means for his future. He will have a long road to recovery ahead of him. We are asking for your help. Gus will be out of work for a long time so he can recover. He has medical but I am not 100% sure how much coverage he has. He has monthly expenses, mortgage, car, taxes, etc. That he will need help with. Gus works in Massachusetts and they do not have TDI in Mass. We are still trying to see if there is any other help he can get. In the meantime I am asking you all to say a prayer, send a card, and please let's help so he can concentrate on getting better and not have to worry about everyday life problems.
Hopefully the MRI they took last night will give us better answers when we go in today. I will update you tonight. Please keep him in your thoughts
