Hi, my name is Ray and I'm starting the gofundme for my long-time friend and co-worker/ brother of many years! Gus has been fighting a long battle with covid since September of 2022 and is still currently in Jackson Memorial recovering. The great news is he is getting stronger every single day and has successfully made it through his double lung and kidney transplant surgeries!

Gus has always had everyone's back during his 36 years as a dedicated leader and hard worker at FPL. We all know and love him and it is our time to have his back now while he gets to the finish line of this hard journey. Due to increasing medical bills, and mortgage payments and other monthly expenses I'm asking for all those who find it in their hearts to donate to please do so. We have no doubt Gus would do the same for any of us. There is real power in numbers and we can make a big difference by providing Gus and his family with financial assistance. The last thing any of us want is for him to worry about finances at this moment, his only focus should be getting better and healing.
