Gurumu Taekwondo are extremely proud to announce that two of its athletes; Ismail Hussain and Siena Lingden have been selected to represent Great Britain at the 2nd Cadet World Taekwondo Championship in Muju, Korea from 23rd to 26th August 2015.

After training extremely hard over the last few years and competing in numerous international tournaments both the athletes rightly earned their place by qualifying for the GB Cadet Team.

Ismail and Siena have an impressive Taekwondo record, with an array of National and International experience under their belt. They are extremely bright, hardworking, and committed young athletes; we are extremely proud of them for their achievements.

This is a self-funded event with the total cost for this championship which includes preparation with the GB Team, approximately £1800 per person. We would like to raise as much funds as possible to help these two athletes to go out to the World Championships.

No doubt you have been following the journey of Gurumu Taekwondo and our athletes; you can appreciate our commitment to our club and our members.
