On the morning of October 29th, Devyn Gurreri fell very ill and was taken to Wellspan York Hospital. Devyn is in liver failure with the possibility of needing a liver transplant. He was admitted to the MICU. On October 30th, he was placed on a ventilator due to work of breathing. He has been heavily sedated and on the vent since then. Multiple scans and lab work have been done without further evidence of why things are so severe at his age. After a few days, he was life-flighted to Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia to be evaluated by a Liver Specialist. He remains vented and in the MICU. As of right now, he is stable but is not off the vent nor sedation. Devyn is a loving and caring son, brother, uncle, and friend to many.
