Gürol Özkalafat

Fundraiser for our brother Gurol Ozkalafat.

Asalam alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu. Inna lillah wa inna ilayhi raji’oon. It is with heavy heart that we inform you of the passing of our beloved brother Gurol Ozkalafat, who has returned to Allah. May Allah have mercy on him and grant him jannat al firdaus.

Gürol was a loving father, passionate chef and full of life. He approached all in positivity, building and maintaining good relationships with all during his lifetime. He lost his life suddenly at the age of 42, leaving behind heartbroken family and friends.

As his family, we are now making funeral arrangements in order to honour our brother a burial in London. We only have a few days to pull together the payment for the janazah (funeral) services. We ask you all to please donate generously for us to bury our beloved brother. Any money passing the janazah cost will be given all as sadaqah (charity) in his name. Jazakhallah, may Allah reward you all.

Please keep him in your duas, may Allah have mercy on him and grant him jannat al firdaus. Ameen.

“And whatever you spend in good, it is for yourselves, when you spend not except seeking Allah’s Countenance. And whatever you spend in good, it will be repaid to you in full, and you shall not be wronged.” (2:272)
