I’m a 25 year old trans woman living in Seattle Washington.
Due to financial setbacks from when I first came out a few years ago, I’ve been fighting to get on top of my debt and to a place where I could feel comfortable approaching the more intimidating aspects of my medical transition.
Unfortunately I haven’t gotten completely on top of that debt just yet, but the last year has made me realize the importance and urgency of prioritizing my medical transition needs.
I don’t have insurance so this goal amount represents a median range for the out of pocket cost of the procedures which would help most to alleviate my dysphoria.
These include: Laser Hair Removal, Facial Feminization, Breast Augmentation & Gender Confirmation Surgery.
If I were to reach even a fraction of my goal amount I would be thrilled. Just being able to get started on any one of these things would be a much needed relief to my dysphoria.
