Urgent Help Needed! Gunny is my PTSD service dog who has come down with some kind of massive infection and has been hospitalised in an effort to save him. Unfortunately even the Vet doesn’t have any idea what it is just yet and are running a battery of tests and IV antibiotics to try to stop it.
This is the first time he has not been by my side since we got him just over a year ago which is emotionally and physically draining.
His medical bills are piling up FAST! He’s not eating or drinking and can barely stand on his own without falling over and is clearly in a lot of pain.
Unfortunately as I am a disabled veteran with only my retirement and disability (which are not enough to cover his treatment) so I am humbly asking for any help you can give.
Gunny is my little shadow who helps me get through the days and nights and I don’t know what I would do without him… He helps me stay in reality and has made such an impact in my day to day life, I don’t know what I would do if I lost him…
