Hi Friends and Fellow Dog Lovers!

We want to thank you for sharing, donating and helping us navigate through this difficult time with Gunner. It is extremely difficult for us to ask for your help and even discuss this openly but our family has run out of options. Learning about Gunner’s cancer was a shock in itself but we thought we were prepared by having pet insurance to help cover all of those costs. The second shock hit us when we were told that our pet insurance is tapped out for the year already (over $5K)

We have paid the $5K for the CT scan (out of pocket) to get him ready for his radiation treatment. He only needs 1 treatment to continue to live his life comfortably. The bone in his leg has not broken or fractured and his lymph nodes are all normal, which means we have an amazing chance at this radiation treatment helping him live a pain free, much longer life. He is still 100% all there for his age and acts as if this cancer isn’t affecting his life other than the painful limp that it has caused. With this treatment, our boy can go on walks again and play in the backyard without fear of his bone shattering because it is too brittle.
