Gunner's Blockage: A Disabled Owner's Plea
Donation protected
My emotional support cat Gunner is currently at the animal hospital in Collinsville. He is the black and white cat. I feel completely helpless and already starting to spiral. I don't know what I would do if I can't get him the help he needs.
He has been unable to utinate since yesterday. I tried massaging him for hours which seemed to help bc he was purring. My daughter, her friend staying the night and myself woke up at 4 am from Gunner meowing in pain. The vet said he has a urethral blockage the size of a softball. This is considered a major emergency. They are sedating him now. He will have to stay in the hospital for at least 3 days . He runs the risk right now of bladder/urethral tear, kidney disease and heart complications. I'm disabled on a fixed income and don't have enough for everything. DESPERATE. I just lost my cat of 15 yo 3 years ago and it destroyed me. Then i adopted Gunner. I have to do whatever it takes for him to get better. We would appreciate ANYTHING right now. His cat sister is already lost witjout him home with us. Please keep him in your prayers and thank for taking time to read this. Thank you in advance for any donations.
