Gun Violence Shooting Victim

Hi, my name is Devonna Faust. My son, Tahj Faust was critically wounded in a random act of violence on November 8, 2022. They pulled up to him, walking from the gas station at 25th and Keystone here in Indianapolis, Indiana, and asked him if he knew someone he didn't know and where he lived. Afterward answering the questions, they began shooting at him. One bullet grazed his lower rib; another grazed his colon. His liver is deeply pierced and still bleeding; he has tubes on the outside collecting his blood. He also has one bullet lodged in his buttocks that the physicians will not remove.

Tahi is a hardworking young man who has worked up to Assistant Manager with Family Dollar. He has been working there for six years since graduating high school in 2016. He also enjoys creating art in his spare time. He specializes in graphic design. He is an independent man, and he's been holding his own since he was 18, paying his bills.

Unfortunately, my son will be out of work for some time and will need help paying rent and bills and paying for his current stay and release from the hospital. He has a long road to recovery. Please donate whatever you can to help on his journey to recovery. If you cannot help financially, please share and pray for his healing. Unfortunately, he didn't opt to receive any short or long-term disability from his employer, as I still carry him on my insurance. He is in stable condition, Glory to God!
