Gummy Bear started his life at the Coulee Region Humane Society as a Stray. They found him sick, emaciated and with extensive tooth/gums problems. While he was there he had 2 big mouth surgeries to remove almost all his teeth and infected gum tissue. Gummy has been living with us since October 2024 and he is here to stay. He currently has 4 teeth left and recently we discovered an abscess on his gums. Our vet has recommended we remove the infected tissue and more than likely all the rest of his teeth.

This will not be a small cost and for our Gummy Bear we will do whatever we have to so that he will be healthy. We have estimates but it all depends on what the X-Rays will say on surgery day, it will depend on how many teeth will need to be removed. It’s currently estimated to be between $900- $1,500 but it could be more. Especially with all the post surgery items we need to get to make him the most comfortable.
