On October 8, 2022, Jayde was in a horrific car accident that left her paralyzed. We are asking for help for things that Medi-Cal won't cover, such as a wheelchair ramp, upgrades to the flooring and bathroom, transportation for her parents commuting back and forth to be there to support her emotionally, and also the severe matting in her hair, among other things. (We are trying to find a mobile stylist to see her in the hospital since she can finally sit up for longer periods of time, and she has a mat about the size of a tangerine on the crown of her head. We've been working at it ourselves but we are going to need professional assistance to save her hair. Our baby has already lost enough )

Her spinal cord was severed at T12 and she has a 1% chance of ever walking again.

Jayde is only 19 years old.
