Our vibrant, beautiful, generous, kind, and extraordinarily talented sister Angela was diagnosed with neuroendocrine cancer in May of 2021, after a seizure landed her in the hospital. It was there that four brain tumors and a mass in her lung were found. A few months later, a follow-up scan discovered a mass in her adrenals.
Since her diagnosis, Angela’s husband Jeff has remained a rock of unending support in every way for her and their family while she has been stoically surviving this illness, enduring painful gamma ray radiation, chemo and immunotherapy treatments for 10 months-all while continuing to care for her children, working whenever possible in her community as a beloved hair stylist and instructor, and finding the silver linings in everything she encounters.
Due to ongoing seizures, she has been unable to drive since her diagnosis. She is preparing to undergo brain surgery in a few days with hopes to reduce the swelling, pressure and pain the brain tumors are causing.
We are reaching out to our dear community of friends and family to ask for your help as she and her family navigate these next steps.
During this time, support for vital living expenses and medical costs not covered by insurance will be so incredibly beneficial and supportive to her and her family.
