Hello,
My name is Tommy, also knows as Guilli/Guilliman in the Stellaris/paradox games communities and various other communities. Particularly for my Guilli's Planet Modifiers mod and Guilli's Ship Components mod for Stellaris, which is a fantastic game with a fantastic community.
This gofundme thing is sadly needed as my desktop computer and gaming rig died on me and I cannot afford to save for a new one for months to come. With this fundraiser I would be able to get back on my feet and follow me passion for game modding, programming and gaming in general. I want to keep working and expanding and improving my Stellaris mods specifically too. I love creating and making people happy with my creations, and now I sadly cannot do that anymore.
I currently work as a part-time ICT internship. I have had issues with my spine (and a spine surgery) for years. This job is my ticket back into the job market, but it's slow and hard as I'm hard to hire (no experiences..) It is rough to save up money right now. At best I might be able to afford a new pc in 6 months’ time. That's a lot of time to no longer have a hobby (or a pc really). So I ask, if you have a dollar to spare and want to help out. Please do. I hope that I can soon continue to work on my Stellaris mods and see everyone enjoy them.
The goal is at 2000, partially because pc parts in Belgium are expensive, and partially because I set the goal to have a powerful enough pc to last me years to come. It also needs to be able to handle any creative tasks I throw at it! The most expensive parts are a new graphics card (as my pc fried my old one) and the cpu and motherboard. Those 3 already account for half of the goal. I hope that's alright.
