Guillermo and Yoda Battle The Evil Brain Tumor

A galaxy far far away Guillermo and Yoda were living a happy, healthy life. All of a sudden the COVID stop us all around the world in our place. My son was 6 and already had been though so much. A passing of a family dog, to his mom having a miscarriage and everything being put on hold by the COVID. Later that year I found my business going downhill and then we also expecting a new little girl. She was coming and we're about to start this thing called " virtual learning " from home. All of us were just trying to live the best life we could!!!!

Then bam!!!! Guillermo started drinking out of control, vomiting in the mornings. I was watching my newborn grow while my son was in pain, as a mother I was super concerned. I had to see what was going on with my son. Now!!!! Yoda and his family stayed by his side the whole way. Though all the tears getting blood drawn, urine samples, Ultrasounds, X-rays, even a MRI. That's what led to us spending hours/days at CHKD finding out we had this evil brain tumor hiding in the middle of my son's head. This evil thing has caused some problems. Hydrocephalus, which has lead to diabetes insipidus. On 8/2021 was the 1st brain surgery my son had. For that one hour I thought he was in another galaxy for sure, my nerves were shot !!!! He was just on the first floor with Yoda starting his battle with this evil brain tumor. He had a ETV procedure done to relieve fluid from his brain. They did a biopsy of the tumor while in there, sent off for a biopsy. MRI's every 3 months to follow. Now almost 2 years later, the last MRI showed growth of this evil brain tumor. Now we find ourselves battling the evil again. He is scheduled for surgery July of this year.

Please help our family navigate through the stress, travel and bills why we try to focus on getting our son back to being healthy again. We appreciate any help given while we struggle getting though these tough times. Guillermo and Yoda have a long road ahead of them, but they are strong and can take on anything.
