I’m Dale, and I’m trying to raise £2,500 to be able to name a GuideDog puppy! As many of you will know, I took delivery of my gorgeous GuideDog Brandy back in October last year.

I have an eye condition called “Bothnia Dystrophy” which has resulted in a sharp deterioration of my vision. We don’t know how it will continue to deteriorate or time scales, but I am doing everything in my power to keep living life to the max! I have had to make lots of adjustments and Brandy has already and will continue to help me retain my independence. She has helped me get my confidence back, and to be able to overcome the challenges surrounding sight loss.

GuideDogs as a charity are simply AMAZING. Their level of support, care and warmth to the dogs themselves and me as a service user has been exceptional and flawless.

I would really like to help GuideDogs in providing future support for others and allow others to have the benefits of their own guide dog.

I would like to raise £2,500 which will enable me to name a puppy after my late “mama” ( that’s grandma to most!) Jenny as the love, support and care she always gave to me I feel would be fitting for that of a guide dog for someone who needs them.
