We've teamed up with Punjabi Spurs and Punjabi Villans Supporters groups to help raise money to aid EYE CAN by trekking from London to Birmingham, and every donation will help support people living with sight loss. Eyecan is an activity-led charity that encourages social inclusion to develop confidence, build friendships & networks of support and self-esteem, meet like-minded people, prevent isolation, and promote mental well-being through activities and new experiences. This trek will be our way of supporting Eyecan's goals and help grow awareness for the support available for people living with sight loss. 

 

 

Eyecan strives to encourage every individual to make the most of their lives and talents, regardless of their circumstances, past or present. Specifically, about a person(s), vision/eyesight – the possibilities for us all are endless.

 

They also believe that no one should have poorer life chances because of how they were born, where they come from, what they think, or whether they have a disability.

 

Their service users are at the heart of everything they do – they see individuals as equals who are not defined by anything or anyone else. A persons’ limitations are set only by the rules that one may put on themselves.

 

This destructive limiting belief is something that they quest to conquer at Eyecan. We all need reminding and encouragement that we can all achieve greatness and reach our full potential. We try and provide the resources that empower individuals to live the life they choose. We hope to encourage and promote healthy life choices and positive action with this trek.
