Glasgow Unis Fencing Race for Refuweegee

From Tuesday 28th July 2020 to Tuesday 11th August 2020, Glasgow University Fencing Club, Strathclyde University Fencing Club and Glasgow Caledonian University Fencing Club will be running or cycling the equivalent of the path up Ben Nevis. How much they have to do this depends on their membership numbers - the totals for each club are:
Glasgow: 210km
Strathclyde: 94.5km
GCU: 80.5km
The winner will be whichever club completes the highest percentage of their goal.
While this is going on, we will be raising money for Refuweegee. Refuweegee is a Glasgow charity that provides welcome packs and events for refugees in Glasgow, having made over 2000 personal welcome packs since 2015. Their work has been invaluable in helping refugees feel welcome and cared for in Glasgow. Visit their website to find out more.
