This fall, you have a unique opportunity to partner with us to raise funds and awareness for a wonderful, local organization that provides an incredible resource to our community.

The Carle Auxiliary and The Carle Foundation built the Carle Auxiliary Guest House to provide a "home away from home" for families of hospitalized patients. The Guest House features 12 bedrooms with private baths, a comfortable living room, communal kitchen, dining room and laundry facilities. Two of the rooms are ADA compliant. Other features include direct phone lines to key Carle departments, computer access and elevators. The House is staffed 24 hours a day by a resident caretaker. The Guest House staff also play an important hospitality role, making guests comfortable and assisting them with personal needs during their stay.


On behalf of our legacy group at Lakeview College of Nursing, we are seeking to raise $30,000 in donations to help support the operational expenses for this facility for the upcoming year. This facility relies on private donations for 100% of their operational expenses and monies have been tight recently.

Please consider partnering with us in this endeavor. A generous nonprofit in the area has agreed to match all incoming funds up to our project goal. If we are successful in meeting this, we will be able to cover more than 25% of next year’s operating expenses and help countless individuals through the services provided by the facility.
