Many of you know the story of my good friend, Guesno Mardy. Guesno's son went missing in Haiti several years ago and it was his case that encouraged me to leave my government job and create the non-profit, Operation Underground Railroad.
Guesno is an amazing selfless man, Father and O.U.R. volunteer. Although we are still searching for his son, Guesno has other children, and one specifically one that needs our help right now.
Guesri Mardy is Guesno's daughter. She is currently attending the University of Central Florida. She is a brilliant straight A student. Guesri has endured many trials in her life and it is her dream to become a doctor. However, due to immigration policy changes she has lost her scholarship to UCF and the Mardy family is now struggling to support her education.
O.U.R. can not give a donation because it's outside our mandate, but we know there are so many friends and supporters of O.U.R. who know the Mardy family and their story.
