Hi, my name is Luz Mendez & I am trying to raise money to help my family with medical bills & travel expenses for my dad (Wecho Pacheco).

My dad is currently in the hospital and dealing with lung failure & my mom has to be by his side, meaning she can’t work. Due to the government shutdown, they most likely won’t be able to get SNAP, and because my mom is the sole provider of the household, I am just worried they won’t have funds to stretch for all their needs like gas,groceries,medical bills etc. My mom has to drive 2 hours home and back to check on my brother in Brackettville Tx while my dad is hospitalized in San Antonio Tx. She can’t work while she’s there and I still have a younger brother at home so I just want to help anyway I can which includes reaching out to others.
