Gudelia's Medical Fund

Gudelia Castelan suffered a stroke on April 29.  She has been at St. David’s intensive care hospital since then. She was in a coma for three days, is currently unable to talk and she is partially paralyzed.  Gudelia does not have medical insurance and after only a week in the hospital, the bill is $33,000. She is expected to be at the hospital significantly longer. After that, recovery will be slow and the medical expenses extremly costly.

Gudelia has three daughter's, Nancy (20),  Geraldine  (17) and  Ivette (9). Her husband and Nancy have been unable to work. Not only is the family experiencing shock and grief, but also a mounting financial problem.
