Hi everyone, 
my name is willow and my pups name is Gucci. He’s been with me for about three years now. I adopted him from a shelter outside of athens Georgia and I can’t even explain how much this beautiful creature has changed my life for the better. He’s made me a better person and has given me so much love. He has protected me from harm and stuck by my side through any situation no matter how difficult. On Friday June 29th Gucci had a serious accident causing him to loose function of both his back legs. He endured a spinal injury and a pretty hard fall. Friday was moving day for me as well so things at my house were pretty hectic. My roomates were moving my stuff outside to the front yard for easier moving and Gucci tripped over something in the walkway and had a hard fall. It was a freak accident and happend on the worst day and worst time. We rushed Gucci to a ER and was then sent to a spine/ nerve specialist. The quote for the X-rays and for his meds was over 1k alone. I couldn’t afford that and had to just opt to get his pain meds. He still really needs X rays to see what’s going on. The spinal surgery the vet recommended is between 4-7k. I’m hoping it’s on the lower end but at this point I just don’t know.  If you can’t donate please share with any friends you can!
