Guava needs to be a tripod!
Tax deductible
This sweet kitty was spotted outside Maui Memorial with a broken leg. She was rushed to the Makawao clinic for an x-ray and unfortunately this leg cannot be repaired (three different vet clinics say it must be amputated). She is not chipped, nor tipped and does not have a tattoo line so she seems to be a street kitty or possibly a Lost Kitty. We need to get her leg removed so she doesn’t end up with an infection. We will fix her later, and if we don’t find her family here, we will find her a great one. She’s a Love Bug and will be easy to get adopted! She is being called a Guava, and she is going to have her leg removed at Central Maui Animal Clinic. We got bids from different vets and the prices were the same or higher - we are lucky Central Maui has a surgeon available (Makawao’s is away). If you’re able to help, we would appreciate it. If not, please share! If everybody throws in just a little bit, our sweet Guava will be up and running on three legs in no time.
