My name is Kelly Logan, and alongside my husband Cory Richez, I am the co-founder of the Suicide Awareness Bus & Spirit House™, a registered nonprofit and national traveling memorial dedicated to suicide awareness, prevention, and community support.
What we’ve built is not traditional… and that’s exactly why it works.
Our organization operates a one-of-a-kind mobile memorial known as the Suicide Awareness Bus. This bus travels across the country, carrying thousands of names, photos, and memories of individuals lost to suicide. It serves as a safe space for those who are grieving, struggling, or simply in need of connection.
We meet people where they are… because grief, trauma, and mental health struggles do not live in one zip code or operate within office hours.
In addition to honoring lives lost, we actively engage in boots-on-the-ground outreach by providing resources such as Narcan, fentanyl and xylazine test strips, and direct human support to individuals in need.
Our newest build, “Zephyr,” allows us to expand this mission even further. At the same time, we are working toward establishing a permanent commercial property where our retired memorial, “Phoenix,” can be safely preserved and visited for years to come.
With that being said...
We don’t need sympathy right now… we need help.
I’m going to be real with you.
Cory and I have poured everything into the Suicide Awareness Bus & Spirit House™.
Not just money… but our time, our energy, our health, and every ounce of love we have for the people this mission serves.
And right now… we’re struggling to keep it going.
Zephyr is built to take this mission across the country.
Phoenix holds thousands of names that deserve a permanent, protected resting place.
This isn’t just a bus.
This is a moving memorial.
This is a safe space.
This is where people come when they feel like they have nowhere else to go.
And we are working hard towards something bigger…
Commercial property where Phoenix can be safely retired and honored forever.
But we can’t get there alone.
Every single dollar goes directly to:
• Keeping Zephyr on the road
• Fuel, maintenance, and travel
• Securing a safe, permanent home for Phoenix
If this mission has ever meant something to you…
If you’ve ever stopped at the bus…
If you’ve ever read a name and felt it in your chest…
This is your moment to stand with us.
