Guam love story!!

Hi, my name is Brenda; a mother asking for support. First off, thank you for taking the time to read this story.
I am fundraising on behalf of my daughter Celine and son-in-law Brady who are both currently serving our country in the military stationed in Guam, and will be soon stationed in Turkey as of August. Celine is from California & Brady is from Nebraska they met while on base in Guam, fell in love, and immediately knew they wanted to be together. They literally ran to city hall to make it official. The two lovebirds planned to celebrate their union in front of friends & family this July 12, 2023. However, a wrench got thrown in their plans.
They have recently been blindsided by the Mawar Typhoon that hit Guam on May 25, 2023. This Mawar typhoon was massive and was upgraded to a super typhoon, meaning that its maximum winds were at least 150 miles per hour, as the storm moved over open water. Mawar was the strongest storm to hit Guam in years, resulting in power outages, severe flooding, endless destruction and of course food and water shortages.
The typhoon caused lots of damage to their home, making a lot of it unsalvageable. As a parent, especially one oceans away from my child I feel helpless. So, here I am asking for your support to help these two; who were barely starting their lives together, to get back on their feet. Your support in any amount will go towards unplanned repairs and expenses to their home and personal items, and hopefully still have a small wedding in July. The money they both had worked so hard to save for their wedding, will have to be used for unplanned expenses due to the typhoon.
As a parent, I simply want to give these two a fair fighting chance and I graciously ask for your help. Any amount contributed to help these two who are serving our country would be greatly appreciated.
