GUACATHON IS BACK AND BIGGER THAN EVER!
On his 23rd Birthday celebration, Joaquin 'GUAC' Oliver's movement is raising the bar to a new level of activism and coalition.
‘THE GUACATHON-2023 EXPERIENCE (https://changetheref.org/' will take place in multiple locations around the U.S. Joaquin takes control of his activism on this occasion by inspiring the team. Based on his legacy, a group of creatives and planners developed a ROAD TOUR to visit, honor, empower, and remember 23 communities that suffered firsthand the injustice behind gun violence. This year GUAC'S magic number is 23.
Starting on July 3rd, Guac's school bus will become a tour bus and a platform to expose our demands massively.
To make this an inclusive event, we asked our followers and advisors to select the group of cities that could fit better in the program.

- The micro concert, with local DJs, rappers, and small acoustic bands.
- Round table sessions with members of the community.
- The micro-festival experience celebrates life with music, art, and good vibes.
- Theater nights. Various theater short plays, including "Guac My Son, My Hero."
- Private meetings with local leaders. An intimate opportunity to exchange ideas.
- Community healing and Memorial events.

"GUAC'S MAGICAL TOUR" is inspired by legendary ROCK BANDS' tour experiences. We must reach the same "STAGE FORCE ADRENALINE" and use it to fight against the U.S. gun violence epidemic.
Change the Ref uses art and non-violent organizing to advocate for gun safety regulations and expose the effects of mass shootings. Change the Ref's ultimate goal is to give the young generation a voice to advocate for change in the gun control policy.
