Dear friends and family,

On Wednesday, November 13th, Trevor's life changed in an instant when he suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI). What was meant to be a trip to San Francisco to honor the life of a friend gone too soon has turned into a nightmare, leaving Trevor and his loved ones facing an uphill battle.

Trevor is vibrant and determined with an infectious laugh, smile, and a heart of gold. Whether helping a friend in need, bringing laughter to those around him, or simply showing up to hang with his homies, Trevor has touched many lives profoundly. This has been evident watching the number of his friends make time to come to the hospital to simply hold his hand, talk to him even though he’s unconscious, or tell Paul and Tammy how much he’s loved. Many of them travel hours from San Diego or out of state. Now, he needs our help.

The journey to recovery from a TBI is long and challenging. Trevor is currently undergoing intensive medical care, including a medically induced coma to help his brain heal, impending surgeries, and specialized treatments to give him the best possible chance at regaining his independence. While his initial responses have been positive, the medical costs for long-term care and associated expenses are still unknown.
