My sister who is a single mother with a 2 1/2 year old Daughter and is 6 1/2 months pregnant lost everything 11/08/2018 to a camp fire turned wild fire in Northern California. She was in the process of starting a small business before the fire took everything from her, and being a newly single mother she was already struggling to the adjustment in supporting her family on just her income alone, so she unfortunately does not have insurance, rented her home, and lives pay period to pay period as most of us do. She is a wonderful, amazing, strong Mother that puts her children ahead of herself.
They lost all of their furniture, clothes, pictures, food, toys everything. Anything you can do to help her get back on her feet before her baby is born in February would be such an appreciated gift from you to her and her children. I figured 7,000 as a goal because she is completely broke right now from paying rent. (She is trying to get in touch with her landlord about possibly getting some of her rent back), but she needs to come up with first months rent and deposit, plus furniture, clothes, cleaning supplies, food, and baby necessities it will be close to that to get back on her feet, and get herself some renters insurance. We currently have $620.00 in total donations. As soon as she can get the funds together to get a new place for her and her children, any items shipped is just as good as money if not better. She thankfully did not lose her place of employment in the fire and has a temporary place to stay with a friend.
