Hi everyone, it's Rex here with my annual request for beach conservation and sea turtle protection. The picture above is of the second beach clean up of 2021 to prepare for the annual sea turtle nesting season beginning in May. Victor is organizing his group of volunteers for beach clean-ups that are needed so the turtles have a clear and safe path to their nesting areas. Donations are critically needed for water, fuel, food for the volunteers in this remote area. Later protection of the nests and hatching will also be necessary in this ongoing environmental project. This is a poor community in Mexico that survives mostly on the tourist industry, so, with COVID19, this year has been expecially devastating . I personally want to thank those of you who have continued to give every year and as well as invite new donations. PLEASE HELP SAVE the TURTLES. Thank you.
