Healing Fund for Jessica

Our amazing friend Jessica competed in an IronMan on Sunday, September 19th! After a great swim, she jumped on her bike and took off. Like the champion she is, she was passing another biker but unfortunately, a car hit her and drove off. Jessica crashed and suffered multiple face lacerations, a fractured cheek bone, a broken clavicle, and a bad concussion (her helmet cracked). Naturally, there is also the weight of not finishing a prestigious race that she trained intensely for.

 

This was a hit and run. No witnesses have come forward to help.

 

Jessica received the news that she would need to have surgery in early October to repair her clavicle. As a career driven mom of two young boys, we are fundraising to help mitigate costs during this challenging time for her.
