On February 1st Mark and Kelsey Truffer were given the devastating news that no parent should ever have to process, baby Mac was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). ALL occurs when the bone marrow produces too many abnormal white blood cells, which are cells that help your body fight off infections. Mac has already shown resiliency and we have no doubt that he will continue to fight along side his mom, dad and very proud big sister Marloe. Kelsey and Mark feel fortunate to be guided through this journey with the best team of doctors in the country at Johns Hopkins Hospital and have already been welcomed by countless nurses, doctors, specialists and technicians. Mac has already started his chemotherapy journey and is expected to have an extended hospital stay, which as you can imagine will be a very trying time for all.

The money raised here will go towards medical bills and other unexpected costs they will likely face during this time. We want them to not worry about finances and put all their focus into Mac and of course, sweet Marloe.

The Truffer’s have a very long, tough journey ahead of them, and they just ask for you to keep them in your prayers every step of the way. Please follow along for updates on Mac’s journey to kicking cancers ass. #macstrong
