PLEASE Help Us Save Our Home!

Hello My Peeps,

I have to be honest with you from the start, I am truly embarassed to be asking for help, but we have reached the point where I have to. My husband, Mark, has been laid off from his Union job since October 2022. During this time, he has been able to work on various cars for people, which brought in a little bit of extra money, Mark collected Unemployment for awhile, but that ran out in May. That means we are currently left with only my Disability check each month, which after my insurance premiums are taken out, leaves us with about $1200 a month. I have Stage IV cancer and while my cancer seems to be under control for the moment, I don't have the strength or stamina to work for someone else. It's the after effects of my treatments that hold me back and find me often sleeping. Getting up from sitting is strenuous and I have frequent falls. Eight and a half years ago I needed whole brain radiation due to 6 tumors that were found in my brain. I was more than happy to get rid of them! Only, I didn't realize that the radiation effects would continue for years to come. My brain is shrinking, has shrunk, and will continue to do so. Much white matter has settled in and will continue to. My memory is that of someone much older than I suffering with dementia or Alzheimers Disease. Only because my loss is from the radiation there are no meds or treatments to help stop what is happening. My brain will continue to shrink until there is basically nothing left. No exercise to stop it. No magic vegetable. No treatment. It is what it is.

My husband does have 2 different jobs on the horizon, but even if they hired him right this minute, it wouldn't be enough to cover our mortgage ($2331.36) and a couple of other things (Trustee $608.00), (Utility $200 to $300) plus GoFund Me's fees,that still need to be paid this month. We have sold things during this time, had someone come through and pick out which of our antiques or collectables he wanted to buy and resell . I'm glad I wasn't here, I don't think I could have done it. He bought a very large old crock of mine and got a great deal. An old round iron floor vent that I was actually using as the top over an old sewing machine stand. A table no more. Quite a few other things. We've scrapped cars. We've let things go that we never, ever wanted to. I beg you please...Peeps, Family, Friends and those who don't even know me, please help us. I can't bear the thought of losing our home, I pray that each of you will find it in your heart to help me. Please share this.

There are only about 11 days left to the end of the month and we need to pay these things before July 1st. We have done so many different things to bring in more money, however, I'm not able to help very much This GoFundMe is my way of contributing.
