Help Rebuild Lives After Hurricane Helene Impact

Jason and Katie, residents of Sunny Shores Mobile Home Park in Bradenton, FL, are raising money in efforts to recoup massive losses during hurricane Helene. We lost everything we had in the storm due to major storm surge. Our home and vehicles were completely submerged in water and we had to be rescued via emergency responders and friends. Our one year old puppy was carried on Jason’s shoulder while he and Katie waded through chest deep water to escape the rising surge. We were left with nothing but our lives (praise to god) and the cloths on our back. All that was worked for over the course of twenty years was destroyed in a matter of hours. We ask our community to help in anyway they can as we are now homeless and without transportation. We know others were also affected by this storm and our prayers go out to them daily. Please help us if possible as this was a devastating and tragic turn of events. We thank you and god bless all of us!
