In memory of Maddy ❤️

Hello, we are Erin and Tanya, and we are fundraising for our dear friends Heather and Peter. Heather and Peter said goodbye to their 3 year old daughter Maddy on October 8th, 2023. No parent should ever have to experience the pain and trauma of losing their child.

Maddy had HLHS (which essentially means she had half a heart. ) Maddy was a heart warrior. She fought so incredibly hard to live life to the fullest. Maddy was sweet, caring, determined, and sassy. ❤️ Everyone around her loved her so much, she filled everyone's life she touched with joy and happiness.

On October 6th, Maddy went into cardiac arrest and then suffered a major stroke. This was devastating for Maddy and of course her parents Heather and Peter, and Maddy's two sisters, Hannah and Hallie.

Maddy went into surgery to try to repair the damage from the stroke and to remove blood clots in her brain. This surgery wasn't as successful as Heather and Peter had hoped.

Maddy didn't wake up, and her organs were starting to fail. On October 8th, 2023, Heather and Peter had to make the impossible decision to let sweet 3 year old Maddy go.

Maddy was a shining light to everyone. Her soul was pure love. We want to support Heather, Peter, and Maddys two sisters, with whatever help they may need to get through the coming months during this extremely difficult time.

All funds will go directly to the family to help with any costs that have or will occur in relation to celebration of life, households, and hospital expenses.
