With a heavy heart, I want to share that Kristen Gerlach has been unconscious in the ICU at San Ramon Medical Center for the past three days.

Although Kristen remains unresponsive, doctors have noted occasional movement behind her closed eyes, which they believe are natural reflexes. She is scheduled for an MRI today to assess brain activity.
