G’day to our whole community and beyond.

I know I stand for many in writing this but we have one of our dearest families facing a massive challenge at the moment. I am hoping we can band together to support our Tanya Brown and her husband Trevor from Bass and Blues Music Store during her challenge after a brain tumour that has recently been removed.

Tanya has now suffered a stroke that at present has left her with paralysis of her left arm.

For those who don’t know Tanya, she is aside of being a brilliant pianist is one of the most selfless people walking this earth. Tanya and Trevor also over two years, at the shop experienced massive losses due to the floods but have dug in both times to keep the doors open to make sure we all had a music store in town.

I am one of the countless recipients of their kindness and I know so many could speak of such an experience.

I know Tanya and Trevor would not want any help, but they have, and are always helping others, even when the chips were down through both floods.

I think it’s time for us all to dig in and help make things a bit easier while this is going on.

They are our farmers of music and goodwill.
