This is where the tale unfolds. Meet Prince, a stray tomcat who etched his way into my heart. I bestowed upon him a name befitting his dignified posture and regal countenance. Despite being FIV+, a common affliction for feral cats, Prince lived a life of untamed turbulence on the streets of Sofia, Bulgaria.
In August of 2022, Prince and I embarked on a journey that led us to the vibrant city of San Francisco, California. Within a few months, he found solace in the warm embrace of a loving family.
As life took an unexpected turn, my cherished companion, Jordan, departed in March of 2023. In his memory, I pledged to extend my passion for feline welfare by initiating a cat rescue mission to aid those in Bulgaria yearning for shelter, medical attention, or a lifeline in their hour of need.
Today, we stand at the precipice of this endeavor, inspired by the promise made to Jordan. I invite you to join me on this odyssey of compassion and dedication to the well-being of feral cats in Bulgaria. Together, let's script a narrative of love and care, continuing the legacy of Prince and honoring the memory of Jordan.
